Yippeee bought it 2nd hand from Rangga for S$800, it's quite new and he hardly uses it as he's been working in Vietnam for 8 months.
Also bought his LG home theatre system for S$200 hee hee (3 months old).

| Giraffe and Spageddies |
 Last Wednesday O and I went to Giraffe for dinner. He wanted to go to Fish & Co. at the Glass House, but as we walked passed the opposite of Istana Park, I remembered the nice looking eating place there. Thus, we crossed the street and settled at Giraffe. It was a cold day, thus we opted for 1st floor outdoor (2nd floor outdoor is under renovation). The view from 2nd floor indoor is like this pic (googled the pic) Too bad I wasn't feeling too well :( I had rib eye steak and O had tenderloin steak. I found too much fat in mine, didn't really like it (but O loved it). While the tenderloin was a bit too hard and dry. ~~~~~~~~~~  Last night we went to Spageddies. I don't know why I've never been there before last night. I mean, I've passed it so many times these 7 years, had always said to myself that I'd try it one day... Anyway, the food was quite nice (I'm quite bored with PastaMania) but O didn't really like the pasta... I gotta stop feasting!! Sis' wedding is in 3 weeks omigod. That reminds me, I haven't collected my gown, must do tomorrow. (I bought 1 size too big as it was on sale and REALLY cheap. Alteration only costs S$15 anyway). Labels: food |

| White Musk Day |
Today was WHITE MUSK day at the office, so fun!
Most of us wear purple.
I worked slightly late last night, so I already saw the stands they put in the middle of the walkway, and I was there when the product team distributed the 30ml WHITE MUSK eau de toilette to everyone's desk (you see, WHITE MUSK is copyrighted, thus can't write in lower case), but I was pleasantly surprise by all the balloons this morning!
There were so many of them, all white and purple (a bit silverly kind).
I regret not bringing my camera!
But, someone from MarCom took pics, so I'll copy some and update here!

| LIPS gathering |
Tiok & sis needed to distribute their wedding invitation, thus we met at Coffee Club at Raffles Place. Not bad, all came. But I took pics slightly late, a few already went home. Hmmm quite a nice catch up, but not an ideal place (the table was too long, couldn't talk to the person at the other end. But we did switch seats though). | Random things |
- I forgot to mention in my previous post, during the Jakarta trip there was this guy at Mal Taman Anggerek money changer counter who asked whether O and I were brother and sister (obviously we weren't holding hand nor being lovey dovey at that precise moment). He said we looked alike *hee hee* we just laughed and said no!, we're husband and wife!
- I like steamed peanut, had that after gym last night.
- 2 of my colleagues, aged 38 and 32, are currently ACCIDENTALLY pregnant with their 3rd child. I'm so thankful I found Yasmin.
- My stamina sucks. I felt like I was gonna faint last night after about 45 min. of steps & sculpt class. Maybe it was due to my lack of sleep. My sight was totally bright and I didn't dare to move for a while. Luckily it was back to normal after resting for a couple of minutes.
- I think tonight's American Idol sucks.
Anyone dare to try a brazilian wax? Or better still, anyone has tried? Tell me about it. I've got 1-for-1 voucher at STRIP from April CLEO.
- Miss Singapore Universe is on again. As usual, they're not very impressive (appearance-wise and communication skills-wise). But I salute them for knowing they'll get lotsa criticism yet still decided to join! Good luck gals :)
- Have you ever counted the number of best friends that you've "lost" up to date? Most of my friends from kindergarten to junior high school are the same and we're still best friends (right, Zhatz 'N Crew members??). I think I only lost a couple of friends due to distance in the early days when we had never heard of internet, mobile phone, and when long distance calls were super duper expensive. But I've lost so many friends from senior high school, Malaysia and Singapore. Sometimes we just grew apart...
- I love being married.
- I wanna go on a short trip. Any idea?

| Death Note 2 |
It'll arrive at my mailbox tomorrow!!!!!!
We've been waiting impatiently for the DVD to come out, and then when it was out, my sis can't get it at Laser Flair (always out). I put it as '1' in my movie queue at hollywood clicks since last week or maybe 2 weeks ago, didn't expect to get it so fast.
I wasn't interested when they were showing in the cinema (both 1&2), I thought they were horror movies hee I'm ANTI-horror movies!!!!

| Dinner at Swensen's |
Sofi treated us to dinner this evening, from having her first paycheck ever.
We went to Swensen's at Jurong Point. She actually bought a SONY MP3 player and Nikon digicam. She took so long to decide (bought at Harvey Norman), we took pictures outside haha...
Karen, this is the tunic I mentioned hee hee, wore it with a white tube inside.
 O's new haircut from Sand and Storm. Nice!  Mama had this prawn & fruit salad, it came with giant fork and spoon!!!

| On being a tai tai for one day |
I took my time-off yesterday (got it from helping the warehouse sale on one Sunday), and finally dyed and highlighted my hair!!! yay!!!
*shall post pics later after BBQ with ex-TTSPL*
I woke up late, check e-mail, read some blogs, went to Jurong East to buy my monthly dose of Yasmin *hee hee*, ate lunch at Pizza Hut (beef lasagna yummy), went to library to return 2 novels and borrowed "Seven Way to Lose Your Lover" by Alesia Holliday *no, i do not want to lose mine*.
I decided to take a cab to Holland Village coz it was very hot and humid, couldn't imagine walking to Holland Village from Buona Vista MRT. Thus, I called Color Bar and changed my appointment to 1 hour earlier. Luckily I took the cab, coz it started raining 1-2 minutes after I boarded the cab, and it became quite a heavy rain. The cab stopped directly in front of Color Bar *yay*.
Color Bar ambience was nice, with soft jazz music, nice decoration, I think the rain also made it nicer. They could actually served some sandwiches and beverages, I only opted for English tea (2 cups).
I resisted the tempation to do treatment (coz it's S$60 after promo!!) and bought a S$28 DIY treatment instead (wella brand).
I spent nearly 4 hours at the salon, due to my black root, the hairstylist had to color the root first, heated it, dyed the rest, heated it, washed, dried, do the highlight, heated, washed, cut, dried, styled. omg.
It's really nice to pamper oneself once in a while. I was tempted to do pedicure at Lush Nails at Holland V Shopping Mall coz it's S$30 which is very reasonable and it was very cozy. But I couldn't bear to lose my current DIY red nails haha.
I walked around Holland Village, really liked the environment there, and it was after the rain, so it was doubly nice.
I was a bit hungry and was sure that O would work slightly late, so I decided to eat at Sushi Tei, actually only had 5pcs salmon sashimi, 2pcs premium unagi sushi, 2pcs scallop sushi AND IT COST S$17.30!!
Went to Raffles Place to meet Mike Zuper and Prissi for a while, bumped into Fabi and also Bomber (haha what a small Singapore).
Finally O finished work, and we decided to have dinner at Ooster at Capital Square.
Had 500gr of mussles in creamy pesto, sausage and mashed potato, beers: leffe blonde and pauwel kwak (the glass is so nice), and chocolate mousse for dessert.
What a nice way to spend my Friday. Have a nice weekend!!Labels: just mira |

| Jakarta, 5-8 Apr'07 |
So, after about 7 years, I finally flew by Garuda Indonesia (GA) again. I had nothing against it, it was just more expensive as compared to many other airlines previously. Now there's not that many choices. So. GA sucks. It was delayed for 20 minutes, the food sucked. Jakarta aiport sucks, too. We waited for 1 luggage for 30 bloody minutes. I went to the ladies and there's a woman cutting my queue. She simply passed me and stand IN FRONT OF ME. Geez. As expected, the toilet is the squatting one. On 8 Apr, airport sucked again. We couldn't bring any liquid, even a bottle of mineral water was banned. Sigh. Well, I simply hate Jakarta. I seriously salute people who stay in Jakarta by choice. Food is expensive (yeah there are some cheaper BUT diarrhoea-causing food), car is expensive (I was so naive, I thought car in Singapore is so bloody expensive that if we buy 1 here, we can buy a few in Jkt. But it's not true, can't even buy 2! IT'S NOT CHEAP), going anywhere takes VERY LONG (by car, mind you). What I love about Jakarta is only: Grandma's cooking HAHAHAHA (ya I know, it has nothing to do with Jakarta). I had dinner at grandparents' house on Thu evening. Yummy. And lunch on Sun. On brighter side, I managed to meet Iyus + Alex on Fri, had Makassar food for dinner at Kelapa Gading area (I had Sop Saudara and O had Sop Konro). Oh, actually not so bright side, cause I had diarrhoea that evening. And the next day. Haiz. We met Setio+Rika, Anton, Yunus and Ria (Boim) for dinner on Sat. We had expensive Japanese food - Kiyadon at Plaza Senayan (to me it's ex for Indo standard, and the food is so-so). After dinner we went across to Senayan City, my first time there. Well, all branded goods are there. Debenhams department store was having sale from 10pm to midnight. Cool. I managed to get 2 tops. Here are some pics I took. I didn't take any pics with friends though :( Grandparents' house. At front yard near the pond, and the fishes in the pond (my cousins told me there are 16 fishes in there..)

I regret not buying more things from the sale yesterday. I should've bought the cranberry body butter. Hmmm but I still have the white musk too shimmer body lotion. Anyway, will finish it and then buy some body butter :D
